Ádám Bogdán (born 27 September 1987) is a Hungarian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bolton Wanderers. He has played a number of games for the Hungarian national team at Under-21 level.

Career

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Bogdán started his career with Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I (Division One) team Vasas Budapest. He signed for Bolton Wanderers on a two-year contract in August 2007.[1] His contract was extended in 2009 until June 2011.[2]

He was on the Bolton Wanderers team sheet for the FA Cup tie against Sheffield United on 5 January 2008, occupying a substitute's position on the bench but is still to make his debut for Bolton Wanderers, despite having designs on, one day, becoming first choice keeper for the club.[3]

In October 2008 he received his first call up for Hungary and was an unused substitute in their 1-0 win with Malta.

In September 2009 Bogdán signed for League Two team Crewe Alexandra on a month's loan,[4] making his debut on 29 September in a 3–2 home defeat to Bury.[5]
