Deportivo Ñublense is a football (soccer) team in Chillán, Chile. It was founded in 1916 and promoted to the first division of Chilean football, Primera División, in 2006. It is currently managed by Oscar del Solar.

The history of the club started in 1916, where a group of friends, headed by the professor from the Liceo de Hombres, Manuel Lara Gutiérrez, decided to found a sports club, wich was a refuge For activities related to sports in Chillán. Thus, in August 20 of 1916, in the Liceo de Hombres de la Ciudad, was founded the "Liceo Fútbol Club", which has among its branches Baskeball, boxing, football etc.
The football team, remained a long time participing in the amateurism where be highlighted to achieve be local champion eleven consecutive years (1938-1949). Among its teams spent players like Eduardo Sanhueza Martín, Candelario Sepúlveda, Tomás Figueroa Bravo, Carlos González Utreras, Humberto Fagnilli Fuentes, this latter is who changes the name to the club taking the adjective of the people in Maule region and was called Liceo-Ñublense.
In 1942, with Lautaro Vazquez Landa as the helmsman of the team, the name changed again to the institution, calling itself "Club de Deportes Ñublense" label that would be ratified by the sports association that year. The club continued in the amateur football until 1957, when thanks to the former boss registrar of the city and club president, Moses Noriega Alarcón, moves from amateur football to join the Regional Championship Conception. In this condition he spent a year, competing with teams such as Lord Cochrane, Universitario, Gente de Mar, Galvarino or own Arturo Fernández Vial.
