A.O.B.C.C (Athletics Old Boys) is a cricket club based in Nelson, New Zealand.

AoB's home field is The botanical Reserve (the botanics) which is a park located in the center of NZ. The gound/pitch is cared for by the Nelson City Council, the pitch is often low and slow making it predominantly a font foot wicket.


The 2005/06 season was seen as a major failure, after a few personell changes at the club, AOB did not succesfully defend its 04/05 Senior one-day title. AOB did not pick up any team or individual awards from the N.C.A. in the 05/06 season, althogh promising young All rounders Greg Chitty and Clinton Harvey were called upto the Nelosn Representative team.

Furthermore many people have wondered why the club is not in the N.C.A Senior competition this year, the club has run into debt. Therefore the team and player registrations could not be payed and the club was pulled from the competition for coming 2006/07 season.
