The 1-3-1 offense is an offense in basketball. it is played with a
Point guard on top, two players at the wings (usually a guard and
forward) the center at the free-throw line, and the remaining
player at the baseline.

PLAYER MOVEMENT
The point guard will usually pass to either wing player, in
which case the Center runs down into the low post, and the baseline
runner will run to the side the ball is on. The player on the wing
will either shoot, pass to the baseline, low-post center or back to
the point guard to reset. the player may also make an across court
pass, but these are much less common. if the pass goes to the
baseline, the baseline runner will shoot the ball, or pass it to
the center who has rotated even farther into the low post. The
cross court pass becomes especially useful if the defense starts to
cheat over to one side, and the first pass is also useful if the
defense is pressuring the point guard and the player at the free
throw line is open. once he receives the pass he can either take
the open shot or pass to the baseline runner for a
layup
