10,000 Yards is an award winning 8 minute film about a football game that is played across 10,000 yards. The short focuses on a single play across various terrain finally ending in a tackle inches before the endzone. The only screening of this film was at the College of Marin film festival for spring 2005. The film later received a Judy award for best action sequence in a short. 10,000 Yards was conceived and created by friends and colleagues Conor Houghton, Chris Tognotti, Sean Hurlburt, and Sean Sterling. They are currently working on a Zombie short with the stars of 10,000 Yards, Jason Rudy, Ryan McEvoy, and Brian Houghton. Noted musician Seth Millstein is also participating in the making of the new Zombie short. Addition actors in 10,000 Yards include Alex Kerr as Linebacker 1, Skip Lovelady as Man in the Park, Erik Berkowitz as HIMSELF, Britt Block as HERSELF, Nick Nadelle as Troy Stallion, and Laura Brink andShahdy Monemzadeh as Hot Tub Girls #1 and #2, respectively. The upcoming dvd will include the theatrical trailer, various audio commentaries and a special behind the scenes look at 10,000 Yards.
