10-21 is a band made up of four guys from Jackson, Mississippi. Frontman Jason Adams, guitarist Darryl Joseph, bass player Charlie Swearingen, and drummer Ben Little. 10-21's acoustic rock sound features songs that deal with real life situations everyone can relate to.

Jason and Charlie met when they were fraternity brothers at Millsaps College. In the summer of 2001, they played on the same rec softball team as DJ. They got together and started jamming and realized they all had something to add. Ben joined the mix shortly thereafter to add drums. They began composing and performing original music as 10-21. The name "10-21" comes from the "10 codes" used by both emergency medical personnel and the fire department to communicate by radio. "10-21" is code for "Give me a call." It also happens to be the month and day in Jason's birth date.

Members

Charlie Swearingen plays bass guitar and has improved greatly since the band was first formed. Charlie, a natural ham, is perfectly at home on stage in front of a crowd and loves to throw in his own brand of humor to live shows. A 1999 graduate of Millsaps College (Jackson, MS.), Charlie works his dream job as a Flight Paramedic.

Darryl Joseph (DJ) is a Dave Matthews influenced guitarist that is the backbone of the band's original music. Originally hailing from New Orleans, DJ is a fireman for the Jackson International Airport as well as a member of the Air National Guard, and the father of 2 beautiful little girls.

Jason Adams is a guitarist and lead vocalist, and also the writer of the majority of the band's early original songs. Jason started writing songs in junior high, and is still going strong. Jason also graduated from Millsaps College (1998), and is a Software Developer for the Mississippi State Tax Commission.

Ben Little is a drummer and keyboard player. He has been playing music the majority of his life and now adds a pulse to the music of 10-21. Ben is the owner of Big Ben Productions, a company which provides sound and lights to events like concerts or large meeetings.
