10East Corp. is a privately-held Software as a Service provider based in Jacksonville, Florida. The firm was incorporated in 2001, under the 10East Corp. name, after the assets of the predecessor company, The AIMS Group, Inc., were purchased out of the bankruptcy of its parent company, ABC-NACO, Inc., a NASDAQ traded railroad supply company. Senior management of 10East Corp. has been with the company since 1995, when it started life as Progressive Computer Concepts, Inc.

10East Corp. markets its services under the brand-name RailDOCS, an acronymn for Railway Daily Operations Control Systems. RailDOCS services date back to 1996, when CSX Transportation became the first customer. Today, Class I railroad customers of RailDOCS include BNSF Railway, Canadian Pacific Railway, CSX Transportation, and the Union Pacific Railroad, plus many vendors to these large railroads, including recognizable names like Alstom, GE Transportation Systems, Invensys Rail Systems, Union Switch & Signal, and many more. RailDOCS also serves many Class_II_railroad and Class III railroad customers, as well as a number of Commuter rail and Light rail transit systems.

Services Offered

RailDOCS is a fully customizable software and service delivery system, wholly authored by 10East Corp., and its predecessor companies. RailDOCS is fully focused on servicing the North American freight railroad, commuter rail, light rail, and transit markets, but within that space, RailDOCS services are both very broad and very deep in scope, and encompass more than the author cares to cover in this document. Some RailDOCS and RailDOCS Mobile services are highly customized to a specific customer, while others are quite generic, drawing additional value and customer and industry benefit from mass customization techniques.

Service Delivery and Pricing Models

RailDOCS services are primarily delievered through two models: via a web-browser and user login at http://www.raildocs.net/ www.raildocs.net or via a mobile computing device managed in the http://www.10east.com/mbp RailDOCS Mobile Business Platform. Pricing models vary from service to service, and customer to customer, but are all premised on the "pay as you go" model, and almost always include volume discounts. Some customers even pay for the exact same service in differing ways. One example of that is RailDOCS Mobile's Preventative Maintenance Management System (PMMS), where some customers pay per-transaction (per preventative maintenance or inspection event) while others pay predetermined per-user, per-month fees, based on that customer's number of provisioned mobile workers.
