The Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps
Columbia(RCSCC Columbia) formed in the fall of
1959 and named in honour of
HMCS Columbia.
The motto of HMCS Columbia is
Floreat Columbia Ubique, which translated means, "May the
Columbia Flourish Forever."

annual inspection in December of 1959 at Canadian Forces Station
Aldergrove. The first Commanding Officer was Lt (N) Thomson DSM
