The 1902 Vols had a new coach, H.F. Fisher, and won a record 6 games in 1902. This team beat rivals Sewanee, and Georgia Tech.

New Coach

H.F. Fisher, the second coach from Princeton, followed George Kelly this year. He compiled a 6-2 record and lead the Volunteers to defeat Sewanee for the first time.
