The 1914 Boston Braves won 60 of their last 73 games. Infielders Johnny Evers and Rabbit Maranville led the league in double plays. They had eleven different outfielders during the season, but also had three superb pitchers: Dick Rudolph, Seattle Bill James, and Lefty Tyler.
