The 1943 Ohio State Buckeyes football team represented the Ohio State University in the college football season of 1943-1944 was a letdown after last seasons National Championship. The Buckeyes compiled a 3–6 record being outscored 149-187. Coach Paul Brown finished 1-1-1 against Michigan and went 18-8-1 overall in three seasons.
