The 1992 Belgian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Spa-Francorchamps on August 30, 1992. It was the twelfth round of the 1992 Formula One season. The race was won by Benetton's Michael Schumacher; it was the first of his record 91 Grand Prix wins.

• This race featured the highest number of finishers of the 1992 season (18 cars).
• The Williams team clinched their first Constructor's championship since 1987.
• Jean Alesi's Ferrari developed a puncture in the left rear tire and collided with Nigel Mansell's Williams at the first corner. Mansell's car was okay but was passed by teammate Riccardo Patrese for 2nd place after the collision.
• Paul Belmondo was dropped by the March team, Emanuele Naspetti replaced him for the rest of the season.
• Érik Comas withdrew from the race following a massive accident on Friday.
• Ayrton Senna got out of his car in the middle of the track to help fellow driver Érik Comas after his crash.
• First race of the season in which Ayrton Senna finished in the points, but not in a podium position.
• Ayrton Senna announced he would not be joining Williams for 1993 as '93 Williams Driver Alain Prost had vetoed the move as part of his contract. Senna had even offered to drive for the team for free.
• With the field reduced to 30 following the withdrawal of the Brabham team pre-qualifying was cancelled.
• Gehard Berger retired his McLaren at the start due to a transmission problem.
