The Texas Rangers 2003 season involved the Rangers finishing 4th in the American League west with a record of 71 wins and 91 losses.

Offseason

• October 3, 2002: John Rocker was released by the Rangers.^[1]
• December 6, 2002: Travis Hafner and Aaron Myette was traded by the Rangers to the Cleveland Indians for Einar Díaz and Ryan Drese.^[2]
• December 23, 2002: Ugueth Urbina was signed as a free agent with the Rangers.^[3]
