The 2009 Atlanta Braves Season features the Braves' attempt to reclaim a postseason berth for the first time since 2005. The Braves are once again skippered by Bobby Cox, now in his 24th season managing the team. It will be their 44th season in Atlanta, and the 138th of the franchise.
