The 2010 Florida Gators football team will represent the University of Florida in the college football season of 2010. The team will be coached by Urban Meyer and will play their homes games in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

On December 27, 2009, it was announced that Meyer would take a leave of absence as the team's head coach for health reasons. He is expected to return for the 2010 season. Offensive coordinator Steve Addazio will serve as interim head coach.

Previous season

In the 2009 season, the Gators went 12–0 in the regular season, but lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship game. The Gators concluded their season with a win over the Cincinnati Bearcats in the 2010 Sugar Bowl.
