219 Michigan Avenue was one of Detroit's tallest early skyscrapers, having stood at 12 storeys, being constructed in 1928. The high-rise building stood at 50 metres (165 feet) in height. It was demolished in 1965 to make way for the Holiday Inn Express Detroit - Downtown which now occupies the site of where this building once stood.
