219 Michigan Avenue was one of Detroit's tallest
early skyscrapers, having stood at 12 storeys, being constructed in
1928. The high-rise building stood at 50
metres (165 feet) in height. It was demolished in 1965 to make way
for the Holiday Inn Express
Detroit - Downtown which now occupies the site of where this
building once stood.
