24Herbs is a Hong Kong based rap/pop group. They formed in 2006. The band is made up of Conroy Chan aka Drunk (actor, former member of ALIVE), Eddie Chung aka Dor Yuk (composer from Drum Music, Hong Kong), Brian Siswojo aka JBS Sir-Eats-Alot (founder of fashion label Know1edge and owner of 8five2 shop), Brandon Ho aka Ghost Style (artist/producer), Phat Chan and Kit Leung aka Phat and Kit respectively, both from the legendary group LMF. The group gets their name from an herbal tea drink that is a specialty of Hong Kong called "Ya Sei Mei" or 24 Herbs. "Ya Sei Mei" is a bitter tasting drink that supposedly balances a person's Chi. It's an acquired taste but Hong Kong generally believe it to be healthy. This is also a metaphor for the groups music which has songs rapped in Cantonese, English and some Mandarin.

The group got their official start by being blessed with a logo design from a highly respected artist "Eric Haze." Haze got to know the group and vice versa through 24Herb's member Brian Siswojo. Both were homies. In the past, Haze has designed logos and album covers for major Hip Hop acts like EPMD, Public Enemy and the Beastie Boys. With a co-signed from one of their heroes the group made their first Hong Kong appearance at Paul Wong's "Let's Fight" Concert on May 11th, 2007. 24Herbs shared the bill with many of the top hardcore and rock acts in Hong Kong including Beyond's members Sai Wing and Paul Wong. The group rocked the house and that experience gave them the confidence to continue recording their album and to perform more shows. From 2007 to 2008, they have shared the stage with hip hop acts like Dan The Automator and AG (DITC) and Mobb Deep. Collaborated on a track with American-born-Chinese freestyler MC Jin. Got photographed by the world famous Terry Richardson.

In 2008, 24Herbs have had a sponsored video by Pepsi Max and will release their debut double CD "24Herbs," on January 24th, 2008, which will be distributed by East Asia Music.
