2B Reputation Intelligence Ltd. was a small
text mining
company based in London's
Holborn district,
purchased by Factiva in
late January 2005, 2B specialised in data visualisation aimed at
marketing and PR professionals seeking to benchmark their
performance and demonstrate true value in their work. Formerly
part-owned by global PR giant Hill & Knowlton (owned in turn by
WPP Group) 2B was
founded by Christofer Solheim, Adrian Melrose (of
Land Rover Blog fame),
Christopher Shaw, Stefan Tzenov and
Simon
Hicks.
The 2B group of companies included Soho design outfit
iConcertina and
Eicos (a Bulgarian
sofware development company based in Sofia). iConcertina remains independent and is run by
Adrian
Melrose but Eicos was absorbed by 2BRI, and subsequently
Factiva to become their
new Sofia office,
specialising in software development under Stefan Tzenov.
The
majority of Factiva's success is attributable to the Benchmark
Bunny team comprising the bunnies Lindsey Mc Donald and Briony
Pollard, managed by Codders and Leemoo. Tragically, Bunny Lindsey
was lost to Frost and Sullivan in January 2006. Bunny Briony
remains at Factiva.
