History
2H was born in 1983 in
Denton, Texas, where he grew up splitting his time from his divorced artistic parents between a small suburban area and in the rural countryside on a large cattle ranch owned by his grandparents.
2H started as a self taught artist through a development of studying nature, comic books,
lego, toys, cartoons, social interactions, and daily life.
He pursued his passion for art starting at a very young age constantly practicing his craft.
This cost him however, Drawing left little patience or time for the artist with his school studies. constantly labeled the
class clown for acting out when bored in school.
Skipping math class to draw or paint.
The artist moved with his family to
Eugene, Oregon during his 8th grade year of school.
2H later on decided against much opposition to opt out of the traditional public school system which he felt was corrupt, and focus on his abilities as an artist on his own.
Learning on his own through reading and roaming the streets, he became immersed in underground Hip-Hop culture, and began studying music and using the music and the culture it formed to develop his own unique style through new and exciting graffiti elements.
Around the year 2003 he moved from Oregon to
Seattle, Washington.
To continue his path as an artist.
He began producing larger works and constantly making new work for the streets of the city as well as for Galleries, Cafe's, Anywhere a new artist could hang up work he wanted to participate.
Later on becoming the second member of the "
Pocket Full of Monsters" artist collective started by another artist he met from Hawaii, Aaron Martin aka Angry Woebots.
Angry Woebots moved to Seattle from Hawaii and they worked together on different projects including live painting for large audience's at Hip hop shows or clubs.
As the collective grew more people became members from all corners of the world through the use of the internet, and the artist's involved popularity and skills advanced.
The artist still lives in Seattle WA. today and continues to show his work internationally and his skill and evolution as an artist continues to further the movement of the contemporary art world in which he works.
