RTÉ 2fm regularly releases 7 podcasts. As well as this a number of special podcasts have been released including a number of Oxegen 2008 podcasts [1] and a special recording of Westlife's day spent with the radio station. [2] Regular podcasts and content are described below.

Colm & Jim-Jim

The Colm & Jim-Jim Breakfast Show podcasts include impersonations of Ryan Tubridy, Ronan Keating and Stephen Gately plus interaction with fellow presenter Gerry Ryan. [3] It was Ireland's third most popular podcast of 2007, with 601,203 downloads. [4 ]

Gerry Ryan

The Weekly Ryan includes interviews and incidents from the previous week's The Gerry Ryan Show. [5]

Michael Cahill

Michael Cahill's podcast contains the answers to some of the difficult musical questions he gets asked on his show each Saturday. [6]

Nob Nation

Nob Nation includes the satire of Oliver Callan, broadcast each weekday morning on The Gerry Ryan Show. [7] It was Ireland's most popular podcast of 2007, with figures showing a total of 736,711 downloads on RTÉ.ie between April and December of that year. Comparatively, RTÉ Radio 1's flagship radio show, Morning Ireland, was second with 730,965 podcast downloads. Nob Nation also habitually resides in the top five of the iTunes chart. [4 ]

Rick O'Shea

Rick O'Shea's podcast contains all the goings-on from his weekday afternoon show. [8]

The Saturday Show

The Best of The Saturday Show features interviews with Podge and Rodge and Little Britain from Will Leahy's time at the show's helm. [9]

Will Leahy

Leahy's podcast features the best of The Will Leahy Show and includes interviews with Robert Maschio and Perez Hilton from the Live in Hollywood sessions plus interviews with Ross Kemp, Ryan Tubridy, Kurt Angle, Pat Shortt, Mike Skinner, Ricky Tomlinson, Bertie Ahern, The Script, Niall Quinn, Tenacious D, Chris Rock, Gloria Estefan, Terry O'Quinn, Jay-Z, Tommy Tiernan, Dermot O'Leary, Des Bishop, Bryan Adams, Skins actors, The Feeling, Dominic Purcell, Dustin the Turkey, Alan Carr, Ardal O'Hanlon, Enrique Iglesias, Jack Shepard, Katy French and Gwen Stefani.
