The 3920th Strategic Wing is an inactive United States Air Force unit. Its last assignment was with the Strategic Air Command, 7th Air Division, based at RAF Brize Norton, England. Inactivated on 31 Mar 1965

Activated on 1 February 1964 by redesignation of 3920th Combat Support Group (established on 1 January 1959)

Inactivated and disbanded on 31 March 1965.

Operations

A non-flying wing that provided host station support functions primarily for SAC B-47 Stratojet wing and support elements deployed to Brize Norton during REFLEX deployments from United States bases. Inactivated in 1965 when SAC reassigned assets of unit to 7514th Tactical Group at RAF Upper Heyford and returned control of Brize Norton to the Royal Air Force.
