3 foot Ninja3 Foot Ninja are an up and coming
band from the North York Moors. Based in Rosedale they formed in
mid-February, 2004, after meeting up at local jam sessions. 3 Foot
Ninja consists of Sean Danby on Drums , Jordan Bell (aged 13) on
Guitar and Vocals and Joseph Bell (aged 15) on Bass and
Vocals.
They play a "sort of heavy-punk-rock blended with a tight,
solid grungy sound!"
3 Foot Ninja's first recording was made in
August, 2004. The band's first EP, called "Pre-Release", was
launched at the Monsters of Swill Festival, Pickering and along
with the band's performance that day resulted in significant local
press attention.
3 Foot Ninja launched their second recording in
August, 2005. The "Pointless Review" single is proving to be very
popular. The first run sold out immediately and has had local radio
airplay. The single is a taster of the band's debut album, which
they have just released.
Every time 3 Foot Ninja play live they
get better and better. They've played a wide range of venues
including some very well known local festivals such as Whitby
Musicport Festival (one of the fastest growing festivals in
Britain) and Blakey Festival on the North York Moors (named in the
'Top 10 UK mini-festivals').
At all their gigs they've had a great
response from their audiences.
