Growing up in Yonkers N.Y., and witnessing drugs, violence, and guns, take over their community, these three young men managed to stay focused, by separating themselves from the negative influence surrounding them. After relocating From Yonkers N.Y. to CT. , to pursue their career, the three had to maintain focus, while reaching for their goal. PrettyMillz, A.k.(Brothers) and B.j.(Cousin) were able to combine their intelligence, and conquer their ability to lyrically dominate. Due to consistent determination, writing and recording, the three of them were able to travel around America, meeting celebrities such as, Mariah Carey, Rosie O' Donell, Robin Thicke, Kanye West, Fat Joe, D-Block, Fabolous, Drag-on, Sporty Theivs, T. Waters(So So Def), Rell(Roc A Fella), etc. 3strikes has managed to charm thousands of ladies around America, due to their charming appearance, style, and confidence. Appearing on DVD's, such as "Streetz DVD pt.2", "Hip Hop's H**s and Hunger", Hood Visions DVD(Starring So So Def Recording Artist T. Waters), and battling local street emcees along the eastern coast, 3strikes has managed to gain plenty of street credibility. After completing their debut album, titled "History In The Making" , the group has been focused on, the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, titled "Young And Focused"

B.J.

Brendan James, also known as B.J., has an interesting past, one that’ll never be forgotten. As a teenager, coming from one of the wealthiest families in the neighborhood, B.J. always felt that he belonged in the streets, at certain times of the day, not being cautious of his violent neighborhood. He would often tell his cousins (PrettyMillz and A.k), “in order for me to be an honest rapper, meaning, living up to what I rap about, I must be out here”.
The streets for him were like a comfort zone, he loved the streets, and the streets loved him just as much, which is why he was unable to stay out of them. Once he began High School, and finally left the negative activities alone, B.J. based his focus on football, and music, and as an aspiring football player, he continuously played, until he got into college. After a severe pulled hamstring, he decided to take a break from his first love, football, and concentrate on his career as a musician. His change of mind is what made him who he is today.

PrettyMillz

Ishmiel kargbo, also known as, PrettyMillz has been known publicly, due to local hit singles, along with group members, B.J. and A.K also known as the trio 3strikes. From traveling, constant performing, PrettyMillz has helped, charm fans, impress CEO's, and excite major label A&R's, alongside his B.J. and A.K. After two years of hard work, it is just about that time for the world to witness what the industry has been missing.

A.K

As the youngest member in the teen trio group, “3strikes”, Akim Kargbo also known as A.k., has managed to gain plenty of success along with group members, PrettyMillz and B.J. . At the tender age of 17, A.K has performed in over 24 states, and in 200 different towns, gaining over one hundred fans a day. Besides recording, traveling, and school, A.K has modeled, in 2005, for the Wilhelmina modeling agency for over two months, while living in New York. After taking a break from modeling, he based his concentration on music, and with his talent, and belief in his group members, he is positive, his change of heart from the love of modeling, to music will be one that’ll pay off.
