4-Methyl-αMT (MP-809), also known as 4,α-dimethyltryptamine (4,α-DMT), is a psychoactive drug of the tryptamine chemical class that was investigated as an antidepressant in the early 1960s, [1][2] but was never marketed. It was also mentioned in TiHKAL, with an oral dose of 20 mg producing "feelings of unreality". [3]
