42nd Street Nightclub is an indie club in Manchester, England.

It is extremely popular with students and local people alike, regularly selling out four nights a week.

Situated at 2, Bootle Street, just off Deansgate in the city centre, it was once owned by the football legend George Best. It is open six nights a week, from Monday to Saturday.

Monday: "Dirty Dancefloors" - The history of indie, 1979 - 2006.

Tuesday: "The Best Indie Night Ever" - Manchester's longest running indie night, 21 this year.

Wednesday: "Retro" - All the classics from the 60's & 70's: pop, soul & funk.

Thursday: "From Manchester With Love" - Madchester anthems and Britpop.

Friday: "Glamorous Indie Rock N Roll" - Classic and modern indie, all night long.

Saturday: "Urban Legends" - Indie, 60's & 70's; this night has it all.
