The 4729th Air Defense Group is an inactive United States Air Force organization. Its last assignment was with the Boston Air Defense Sector, being stationed at Westover Air Force Base, Massachusetts. It was inactivated on 25 Jun 1958.

Activated at Westover after 4622d Air Defense Wing became Boston Air Defense Sector. Was command and control organization for FIS at station, being a tenant unit under the SAC 4050th Air Refueling Wing.

Inactivated 25 Jun 1958 and organization absorbed into Boston ADS.
