The 4756th Air Defense Wing is an inactive United States Air Force organization. Its last assignment was with the Air Training Command, being stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. It was inactivated on 30 Sep 1967

Primary mission of the wing was to operate Weapons Employment Center at Tyndall AFB. Major responsibility of wing was to evaluate effectiveness of Air Defense Command Fighter-Interceptor squadrons which were required to spend one month each year undergoing evaluation exercises at Tyndall.

Provided interceptor combat crew training for F-101, F-102, F-104 and F-106 aircews, interceptor weaons training; testing and evaluation of manned interceptors.
