Members chat about A Series of Unfortunate Events. There are thousands of members (of most that haven't ever made a post) and everything is moderated by trustful staff members. 667 is proud of the fact that the majority of the active users type with the most correct standard english possible, but they've been known to be ruthlessly cold and unaccepting of wonderfully intellegent young ones due to their use of online lingo. The users are wonderful, for the most part, excluding the few unaccepting rude members who tend to start fights with and horribly verbally abuse others who they don't take to liking. Lately, the kind and friendly members (which are the majority) have been standing up against these acts and the persecuters have eased on their confrontations. 667 Dark Avenue also offers many friendly faces that you can get to know.

The forum features a main section for A Series of Unfortunate Events and a section for the other aSoUE items (movie, calenders, ect.) as well as many seperate boards for other literature, fan fiction/art, personal fiction/art, greetings, media, games, general miscellaneous talk, and the infamous "Disturbing Discussion" section for more serious issues. Even if you aren't a huge aSoUE fan yourself, you will find a place of interest at this forum. Many active and well-known members hardly, if even at all, post in the series board.

The many active users of 667 have fallen into their own places of the 667 social community. The last few waves of new members have seemed to bond with each other quite closely, while still being close acquaintances with the older members. Some members have even formed their own roles. C(harlot)te, for example, has become everyone's much loved Camera Whore. She's the cute little catholic school girl who keeps the board's humor level up. Where there's Charlotte, Pandora is usually not far. Pandora, Panny/Pancake/The Woman Next Door, is one of the oldest members left as well as the moderator of the non-aSoUE literature sections. She's aged greatly since she came and is now one of most respected (and simply hilarious) members. Char and Pan usual collaberate on their mock-serious threads and have a tendancy to follow each other's comments with great one-liners. They, along with Trish, Betsy, and Ila, keep the board comical and fun with their (sometimes too heavy) <s>usually sexual</s> humor.
BSam, who isn't around as much as he used to be, is everyone's favorite drunken uncle, with a twist of pedophilia. Everyone loves BSam and there is simply nothing to add here that can discribe his awesomeness.
Tragedy, the admin, is respected and feared by pretty much all members who don't know him well. He's the absent father of us all. Everyone is aware of him, but he's hardly seen and will use his admin powers to whip you into shape and even blame you of orphan rape, if you're not careful.
Even if you're just lurking around the forum, you'll be able to pick up the many members who have specific roles to everyone in our 667 family. Just because they need to mentioned, some of the well-missed and in some opionions, bluntly the best, members who are no longer with us on the forum include Neggie, Pester, Ponygirl(Klaus), Mamba Du Mal, Bored, and, of course, the very first member, VioletB.

Members can have different personalities online. Several have created different "gag" accounts for their own amusement, or for the amusement of other members when it seems that the forum has become too dull and boring. Gags have stirred some controversy over the years but are always meant in the act of jest and fun. History of some gags include:

The member J. has been known to create many gag accounts, all of which are hilarious, but do not help the situation of banning the perpetrator. She has gotten herself banned countless times, yet she nevers leaves. Due to this she is a well-respected and well-loved member. Plus, she's in love with Roy Mustang, so it's all good.

Google seems to favor the member Jemima, a member dedicated to cats and the musical Cats.

Though many members of 667 favor humor with a sexual twist, the forum is indeed still a strong children's forum. Though some of the older users may make references to "iffy" subjects at times, it is well maintained and kept to a minimum by our fabulous moderators. Disturbing Discussion was recently password protected for a long period of time recently due to a few complaints of the matter being too mature for young ages. We assure you that the forum as a whole, admin, moderators, and members, do our best to keep the board as welcoming, friendly, and appropriate as possible.
