7th Sun, or JT Curtis & 7th
Sun, is a rock and rollblues band based in Los Angeles, California. Also considered a jam band, 7th Sun's live shows
revolve around extended improvization. Lead Guitarist/Vocalist JT Curtis and Drummer/Vocalist Colin Cronin formed the band.
Curtis & Cronin write almost all the songs together, although
JT writes songs himself. The 7th Sun sound is recognized by
“Spiraling guitars, driving rhythms, and gutsy vocals.” The band
often uses the title of their second EP “The Return of Rock ‘n
Roll” to explain their music as “A new future of rock ‘n roll.” JT
Curtis still performs with 7th Sun across the country.
