8 Track Playback is a daily radio feature hosted by Donny Osmond available on barter. Everyday, the legendary Donny Osmond takes listeners back in time to revist the entertainment and musical milestones which happened on that day in history. The 8 Track Playback ends with a hit song from the 1970s. The feature is produced in three daily features: One with a "pop" tune, one with a "rock" tune, and one with no tune, to give stations the ultimate in programming flexibility...whether it's an Adult Comteporary, Classic Hits, or Oldies station.

The Host with the Most...

Credibility. That's what Broadcast Barter Radio Networks founders Mike Noonan and Matt DuBiel looked for when selecting the host of the 8 Track Playback. Mike Noonan: "We wanted a host who not only is synonymous with the era we are focusing on with this feature, the 70s, but someone who also is relavent today. We didn't want some relic "has been" doing the Surreal Life or anything. We wanted someone likable, talented, and compelling to our target listners, 35-54 year old woman. Needless to say, we feel we found the only person who fulfilled all of those unique requirements...the inimitable Donny Osmond! We're thrilled he's on board...listeners and radio stations will be as well!

Donny Osmond[1966] wrapped up a crically acclaimed 9-week run n Broadway in late 2006, this time as the villainous Gaston in "Beauty and the Beast." His 55th album, "Love Songs of the 70s" will be released April 3, 2007. Additionally, the new "hardest working man in show biz" has signed on to host a new unscripted prime time show on ABC beginning March 27, 2007 called "The Great American Dream Vote"[1967].
