Events within the
Air Training
Corps include Flying, Gliding,
Duke of Edinburgh, Shooting,
Swimming, football and many more. This is an ideal opertunity for
those that want a career in the military and will also give an edge
in a civilian job. Learn many new skills such as how to fly, shoot
rifles, assalt courses, improved leadership and team work skills.
You could also come out with many more qualifications such as a
pilot scolership alowing you to fly solo in light aircraft or
gliders. Gold Duke of Edinbough award,
Millenium
volunters, BTEC national in aviation studys, BELA, junior
leaders, marksmanships, radio courses, first aid, band skills such
as a musician or drummer.
92 CHORLEY squadron is also home to the
only band in the cumbria and north lancashire wing. there band
master is CI Max Hundlbey and drum teacher A SGT David Brook. Band
nights are on a wednesday at 19:00-20:45.
