'9 Plot Points' is a concept engineered by film guru Dr. Marco G.
Marco G has won various awards based on humanities, science, the arts, and most recently, film.
[1009] The nine plot points are a theory put forth, demonstrating the 'normal' progression, through plot, of film.
The 9 plot points consist of:
1)Someone toils long into the night
2)Something bad happens in the first 4 minutes
3)Titles and Imagery
4)Meet the hero and the opposing team
5)The catalyst/ inciting incident
6)Go for the first goal
7)The reversal/ history lesson
8)Go for the second goal
9)The wrap-up
The nine plot points are commonly considered the backbone of 'good' filmmaking, along with lighting, and shot selection.
It should also be noted that Marco G does not believe that Quentin Tarentino is a competent director, based on his inability to comply with the above criteria.
