The A-Tree society is an informal gang run throughout the southern
towns of the Greater Boston Area. 'A-Tree' as it is known as
thrives largely in the town of Hingham, Massachusetts, a region of
the state which currently suffers from gang rivalry. This is
evident through the emergence of four well sustained gangs, the CPP
or Conservatory Park Posse, the CPC or the Crow Point Crew, SSS or
South Side Sity, and finally the A-Tree Society a band of streets
who at this point over rule the other gangs in the area. Headed by
founder and minister Michael Gill, other followers joined including
Chris Johnson (Middle), Nick Driscoll (Winthrop), John Arnos
(Prospect), Mike Ferrucci (Saw Mill), Sean Flannery (Maryknoll),
Ricky Tantillo (Grove) and Nate Popp (Gardner). Gang wars are
common in the area in within the last six months after the
formation of the A-Tree Society homicide rates have sky rocketed
with an astounding 314 in a suburb of Boston containing merely
25,000 people. Drive bys are all too common as the A-Tree enjoys
these frequently. Hence, their slogan "if you come to A-Tree you
will leave with holes in ya chest." The Symbol for A-tree society
is an ambulance, due to the damage the members will do to other
gangs. The other gangs are known for being simply "not gang like"
acts such as being pussies and other offenses toward the name gang
have allowed the CPP (Conservatory Park Posse) to diminsh in
respect and have recently lost members. The hey day of the A-tree
society is evident and their ability to overpower other gangs seems
to be something that may never decrease.
