List of A roads in zone 1 in Great Britain beginning north of the Thames, east of the A1 (roads beginning with 1). It covers everywhere east of the original A1. In towns where the original A1 once passes, it the border cuts the town in half. For example, the eastern half of Darlington lies in the '1' zone with the A1150 starting, and the western is in the zone 6; the original A68 starting on the Old A1.
