AAHAP is a non-profit
organization founded on June 7, 2008. It was originally intended to
be an organization that would inspire others to take action towards
animal welfare issues, until AAHAP members took action themselves.
In early June of 2008, the founders began a fundraiser for The
Homeward Bound Humane Society, and they continue to advertise this
cause. For more information on current events click
here. This
is a notable organization simply because this is one more group of
people that are speaking out against animal abuse and neglect and
are working together to find a solution.

AAHAP Web Page
The founders of AAHAP designed a web page for the convenience
of their supporters and benefactors. The site construction began in
early June of 2008. ( around the time that the organization was
founded) Since then the site has grown to be much more complex and
user-friendly. It was designed by a AAHAP member and volunteer
using an online software called SynthaSite. The construction period
lasted for about one month and was officially completed on July 3,
2008 with a current events section, pet adoption stories, weekly
featured pet,and login feature with access to member exlusive web
