Alumni Association of North South University
The Alumni Association of North South University aims to deliver the most effective alumni relations program anywhere in Bangladesh. Its diverse offerings include communication and networking tools (Online and Offline), academic and social programming (on and off-campus), Career Mentor Programs and more.

The Association celebrates the accomplishments of the graduates. NSU graduates are successful in their professional life and many of them holding important positions in a diverse category of organizations; many are pursuing their career abroad. The Alumni Association of NSU is working to bring all the graduates under one community. This network of graduates is getting stronger by the day. The strong network is helping in job placements, business opportunities and social benefits of the Association's members.

The Association is dedicated to helping the students and members of the community with special projects and activities. It is also working with NSU to assist the university in its mandate of higher learning standards and to maintain the value of a NSU degree.

AANSU is committed to raise the name of NSU into the halls of fame and glory, through leadership and achievements, in every sphere of society! The Association fosters positive and productive relationships with all graduates of NSU and dedicated to serve its members with information, training, lobbying in different sectors on different issues and social services.


Objectives:
Socialization objectives:
· To discover many old friends with whom you may have lost contact with
· To remain in touch with old friends and to get to know hundreds of new people every year
· To have a platform to make newer friends who share a common background
· To enjoy regular social activities including musical programs, parties, picnics, and more

NSU and its students’ future betterment related objectives:
· To contribute positively to building the image of NSU and its social responsibility activities
· To have a ground from which to contribute to the betterment of NSU’s future, its reputation, and its modus operandi
· To help connect the university and its present students to the corporate world by helping find internship opportunities and job placements and by arranging seminars
· To help present students of NSU have practical trainings on issues that are relevant to real job environments going far beyond strict academia alone

Business, corporate networking and career objectives:
· To have easy access to decision makers and people of power – for that is what NSU Alumni are becoming, with every passing year
· To have a ready network of business service providers from whom to seek services at slightly more favorable terms and conditions
· To enjoy privileged or discounted services from businesses owned or managed by fellow NSU Alumni
· To have a ready network of potential clients to sell your business services and products to, and who may be more willing to buy to help you out
· To have help and information in looking for better jobs, career and business opportunities at home and abroad

Aggregate social development and humanitarian objectives:
· To have a platform from which to voice your opinions and promote your ideas for greater social change across the country
· To have a platform to undertake charitable and development activities including donations of various kinds, relief work during natural calamities, arranging fund-raising events, sustainable contributions to poverty alleviation such as providing trainings and micro scale capital to micro scale entrepreneurs etc.
