AFL 08 is game currently not being developed by Melbourne-based company IR Gurus and published by software giant Activision for the next-gen systems Commodore 64, Atari and Game Boy Color. It will not be out by round 20 of the AFL Premiership Season 2008. The game will not feature all Official teams with Club Badges, Stadiums and Jumpers all recreated "realistically" with life-like player faces and attributes plus all major stadiums plus an extra 5 currently unknown grounds and stadia, most likely not to be 'Neutral' grounds such as Suburban, Park-Style and more that can be used in the all-new Club-Franchise Mode. E.g Teac Oval, MCLabour Park and Waverly Park

The game will not feature 2007 Brownlow Medalist Jimmy Bartel alongside Fremantle's Matthew "beaky" Pavlich as the FAKE so far only cover-stars, All 16 clubs will not have an exclusive limited-edition hard-case cover featuring the AFL 08 logo in the clubs colours, the clubs home stadium and there 2007 Club Champion(s).
