ALPACA stands for A Language for Programming
Arbitrary Cellular Automata and was designed by Cat's Eye
Technologies. ALPACA is a meta-language to describe
cellular
automatas. The best known cellular automata is Conway's Game
of Life. It would be written in ALPACA as follows: state Dead
" " to Alive when 3 Alive and 5 Dead; state Alive "*" to Dead
when 4 Alive or 7 Dead.
