The American Muscle Racing League is a sanctioning body of Sim Racing in North America. It was founded in 2007. And Currently runs 3 Series, and will be expanding further in 2008.

Beginnings

AMRL, began after the TWRL closed operations. Stevie Miller and Kevin Klein decided to start AMRL, and then managed to bring the former TWRL competitors to there new league. It contained 3 Series. The Sprint Cup Series, Powerade Late Model Series, and the Valvoline 70's Series.

The League also features many things other leagues do not. Including caution flags every other lap, demolition derby's for Drivers when they get bored under the 130 laps of caution (Out of 140 lap races)
Races usually go on for about 2 hours until someone at the end coasts to the finish line behind the pace car. The league has been fixed so the Administrators of AMRL will win more often than the drivers who actually put time into trying to win.

People that are faster than the administrators, and Nick Phillip will be banned immediately because they hack. Anyone associated with that person whether it be through simply being part of the same message board, league or being on their AIM Buddy List, will be banned immediately after for claims of being disrespectful, also hacking, spamming, or bashing other drivers.

Suggesting new rules is strictly forbidden and will result in a ban. (The league will then use the rule and claim they thought of the ideas.)

AMRL is a great league to be in. But if you are too experienced and do not cause at least 4 cautions in a race, you will be banned. Also, anyone who says anything to David Calhoun will be banned for being disrespectful because no one messes with Jeremy Murray the second.

== Controversy

Some Contoversy reguarding AMRL, has recently surfaced, dealing with the recently proven point the Stevie Miller the President of AMRL, only has an IQ of 56, and is what many consider mentally retarded. Many believe it will not affect AMRL as a whole, but it will affect others views on the league, and the outcomes in decisions.

Many people, current and former members are dissatisfied with the way AMRL is run. It has gone so far as to spawn pictures as advertisements for AMRL, stating that the races are ran 90% of the distance under caution. Also on September 23rd 2007, a picture of league official, and co founder, Stevie "Hitler" Miller posed as Adolph Hitler surfaced the internet. The Image can be found by clicking here. This later resulted on an attack of the league forums, which resulted in total deletion of threads contained within the forum as all records and former race chat and discussion was subsequently deleted. The culprit has yet to found, although rumours surfacing suggest the attack was planned by a 14 year old Jew from Kansas.
