The AMX is a morning drivetime show on KCXX X 103.9, in Riverside/San Bernardino, California. The show is hosted by Doug, Steve and Veronica. The show entertains listeners with various games, produced comedy bits, edgy topics and the occasional guest. The AMX can be heard weekday mornings from 5am to 10am.

This a notable morning show that beat main competition KCAL FM in the mornings in the Arbitron ratings within the all important 18-34 age demographic within market 26 with a 3.0 to the Morning Stiffy's 0.0 in the last ratings trend. The ratings are probably due to the fact that the AMX is interactive with its listening audience and does not consist of personalities that think that reading something in a annoying voice, farting on the microphone on air and slamming one's hand on the counter thinking that they are the greatest show on a heritage rock station that does not play new music.
KCAL's antics are also found to be not funnier than the AMX. Dr. Stuess, Tiff's Teenage Diary, Boob Camp, etc are not hilarious in comparison to what the AMX does on a regular basis.

The AMX was featured in the Sep. 27, 2007 edition of local newspaper the Highland Community News introducing the show at launch as well as the 2008 May/June issue of The Girls of Penthouse Magazine showcasing when 6 of the potential Penthouse 2008 Pet of Year canidates stopped by their studio which included 2008 Pet of the Year Winner Erica Ellyson.

On Monday April 14, 2008 the AMX will have a huge announcement involving the number One Million.

  • One of the most notable stunts was "Veronica Walking Topless." For the last half of the month of January all the way up to the week of Valentine's Day 2008. In a attempt to raise money for fellow X 103.9 DJ Dirty D and his personal fight against cancer, the challenge was laid out if Doug raised more money he would cut off his ponytail. If Veronica raised more money she would walk up and down a local street topless. With a last minute donation Veronica raised more money and had to pay up on Valentine's Day. But it turns out that "Topless" was the name of Dirty D's dog and Veronica walked Topless up and down the street, much to the dismay of the hundreds of listeners that showed up to watch Veronica. The video can be found on YouTube and has been viewed over two thousand times

  • The question was brought up, which hitchiker would be picked up, a guy in a shirt and tie or a guy holding an axe with his thumb out. Steve and Shrug went out to find the answer. Steve was dressed in a shirt and tie and stood out in front of a Wal-Mart, while Shrug stood out by a freeway entrance while holding an axe. Shrug was quickly picked up and taken on a ride around the Inland Empire. Steve was only able to get a ride from a person riding a bicycle. There was question as to what happen to Shrug, due to the fact that his last call in was cut off by the person that picked him up. But Shrug returned to the station safe and sound later in the day.
