Marshall Court (1801-35): Federalist
appointed by John Adams, very nationalist.

(1803): Established Judicial Review.

(1810): Georgia legislature attempted to void a land grant, Court
upheld property rights by ruling that the state's action would
"impair the obligation of contract".
