ARAS or Lithuanian Police Anti-terrorist Operations Force (Lithuanian: Lietuvos policijos antiteroristinių operacijų rinktinė) is a Lithuanian equivalent to SWAT. The organization was established in 1991. At first, ARAS's purpose was to handle riot suppression, peace keeping, and grands seigniors escort. In 2002, ARAS became an anti-terrorist organization. One of the companies of ARAS is located in Klaipėda, Lithuania's only seaport.
