A Barca do Sol was formed in 1973 as a
support band for musician Peri Reis, but ended gaining a life of
its own. It was one of the most important bands of its time. The
band recorded 3 ablums during their activies and a collection set
released in 2000. The band broke up in 1981 but the members
continued their own solo careers.
