The stories of a French girl who moves to Scotland with her family for thier summer holidays and two troubled Scottish travelling gypsy type boys named Paddy and Elijah whoend up crossing paths in surprising and touching ways.
The film is shot in England, France and Scotland. In order to cast the children's roles, auditions were held for teenagers in school aged 16–18 all around Scotland.. The film was scheduled to start filming in spring 2009 and have a late 2009 release but the film has been pushed to a 2011 release and filming has yet to begin, reasons being complications with casting as so many people auditioned that the flm makers are having trouble picking out the right choices. It was also pushed back to increase marketing for the film. The film was yet again pushed back to 2012 after Alfonso took the job of directing the tourist and has yet to start pre-production. The UK Film Council provided £50,000 towards the development costs of the film.[1]
