Clockwork Orange is the title of a little known
computer
game released in the late 1990s and is loosely based on the classic novel and
film of the same name. The game was so poorly recieved by video and
computer software reviwers and the public that it remains a
difficult game to find on the market.
Game Play
The
format of the single-player computer game is molded after survial horror games
such as Alone in the Dark, and Silent Hill. In the game you
control a young girl, solving various puzzels and trying to avoid
becoming the victim of a serial killer.
=== Criticism ===
The game was severly panned by several computer game reviewers
who attacked the game for its poor graphics, control and storline
along with having little to do with the popular film. One such
magazine even agreed to publish the reply from the sofware
developer, while the magazine continued to pan the game. Sales for
the game were so low, that the software developer stopped producing
the game and it became almost impossible to find. In fact, some
people wrongly believe that it does not exist.
