A Cold Case is a thriller to star Oscar-winning actor, Tom Hanks playing the role of investigator Andy Rosenzweig.
Rosenzweig, on the prospect of near-retirement, vows to solve one more crime-the 27-year-old case of the death of his best friend.
The film is scheduled to be directed by Mark Romaneck, who previously did One Hour Photo, adapted from the novel by Philip Gourcevitch and written by Eric Roth.
Currently being filmed at best, it is still to be given a release date sometime for 2008.
