A Merry Jingle (B-side "Justifiable Homicide") was
the first single by hard
rock band The Professionals. It was released
on the independent Anthem Records in 1978. This single sold enough to give the band its
first appearance on Top of the Pops. The first pressings were
credited to "The Greedies", an early name of The Professionals.
