An itinerary for a weeks stay in Sheki, Azerbaijan.

• Arrive in Sheki
• Check into hotel/home stay
• Go to the Caravan Saray
• Eat lunch
• Rest in the park by the town center
• Go to the Juma Mosque
• Eat dinner at Shirin Pivasi 3 blocks south of the New Bazaar

• Breakfast
• Go to the silk factory
• Lunch (Celebi Xan)
• Tea with baklava and xalva
• Eat dinner at Milli yemeklar (dolvga, dolma, bozbash, plov)

• Ride the minibus to the sports complex and play a game of tennis
• Lunch at Sheki saray hotel (penne pesto)
• Go to an internet cafe
• Dinner
• Hike to Gelersen Goresen
• Supper at Cafe Miraj next to the bazaar (Beer, kotlet, piti)

• Breakfast tea with baklava
• Go to the Albanian Ruins in Ortazeyzit
• Have lunch at the M.F.Akhundov Park
• Go to the Chingiz club and watch a movie
• Eat supper in the Ayisigi restaurant (kabab, qazan kebab)
• Watch a play at the drama theater

• Visit Azerpost Office
• You may go Qax and its Ilisu regreation area
• Visit the bus station
• Dinner
• Shop in the bazaar
• Go to the Hadar Eliyev museum and learn about Azerbaijani history
• Read one of Azerbaijan’s famous books in one of Sheki’s parks (Ali and Nino, etc.)
• Supper at a tea house (sebzi mutton with greens, chicken kabob)

• Breakfast
• Go to the Kish via number 15 bus
• Go to the cold springs (near Markhal)
• Hike in Marxal
• Eat lunch in Marxan
• See the history museum in Marxal
• Go to the home of M.F.Axundov
• Eat dinner (minced meat kabob,badimcan dolmasi and another)

• Explore the main avenue of Sheki
• Check out of your hotel/home stay
• Lunch
• Go to the ATM for the next leg of the trip
• Reflect on your time in Sheki at a tea house with a bar of Russian chocolate
• Supper at Milli Yemekler (grape leave dolma, spaghetti, xengal)
• Catch the night train out of Sheki
