A Yamaguchi Ghost Story is an arc of managa stories created by Shishidou Takamitsu, all relating to each other in minute ways. It contains three stories. Each is unique and has its own story-line and characters but all still are interrellated.

Stories

Concrete Canvas is about three high schoolers, Rupan, Va, and Komori, that are under a horrible curse. When the sun sets, they change into demons and if they do not kill one person before the sun rises again, they will kill the person most dear to them.

Static is about a young girl named Ainaka who finds herself wandering late at night down the streets. She finds a strange shop that she has never noticed before named Kioku-ya (Translated it is: Memory Shop) Upon entering, the witch that owns the shop steals all of her memories and she must work at the shop to regain them.

A Perfect Cycle is about a respectable woman named Yukina who is a normal woman buisness woman by day and a fortune teller by night. She is gifted with the ability to read people's past lives and tell them of their future ones. But a tragic accident takes her own life and she awakes in the body of a seventeen year old girl.

Concrete Canvas Characters

Rupan- (It's spelt similar to Rupin from Off The Leash but they're different) He always seems to keep a somewhat upbeat attitude even in his situation. Although Van's affections for him are seen frequently, it is unsure if he returns her affections.

Van- Van is always outgoing and in a sense could be consider a normal sixteen year old girl. She's has deep care for her friends and her greatest fear is to see them hurt. It's obvious throughtout various points that her affections for Rupan expand farther than that of friendship.

Komori- Komori is the oldest of the group and for that reason likes to act like he's the most mature. But in truth, he has about as much maturity of the rest of the group. He's very protective of Van, almost for to the point of it becoming a burden.

Static Characters

Ainaka- A hard worker, diligent in her school work, and president of the ASB, Ainaka is the epoch of a good student. But secretly, she wished that she could just be a normal teenager that didn't have to deal with all the pressures she put on herself.

The Witch- The mysterious old woman that owns the Kioku-ya. Throughout the series, she isn't know as anything besides Witch or Old Woman. Her purposes for collexting memories is unknown but they can't be good if she's known as the witch.

The Shadow- The shadow is the mysterious figure that The Witch often talks to through he television set. Not much is known about him or her.

A Perfect Cycle

Yukina- An upstanding and succesful buisness women who secretly finds herself telling people their past lives. Even when she dies and is put into the body of a seventeen year old, she still manages to keep her maturity and her ability to see her past lives and the past lives of others.

Akira- Yukina's boyfriend before she died who is a teacher at her school. He's more fun-loving and less mature than Yukina which makes him a big hit with his students.
