Aaron Bock was the disgraced Town Supervisor of
Yorktown, New York from 1993 to 1995. His short administration was rife with
allegations of corruption, scandal, and very unpopular decisions
seemingly in open defiance of the general electorate<ref
name="Bock2"/>.
Bach was elected for one term, winning a
close race against Linda Cooper who would go on to serve six terms
as Town Supervisor. Bock's administration was beset by many
problems from day one, and he became embroiled in a scandal when is
office was accused of covering up the disappearence of over one
million dollars belonging to the Yorktown Central School
District<ref name = "Bock1"> </ref> . Yorktown
Taxpayers called on him to resign, which he refused to do, although
the School Superintendent eventually fled to Arizona<ref
name="Bock1"/>. Bach lost his first bid for reelection in a
landslide amid the scandal and after closing the town's popular
Equity Theater.<ref name="Bock2">
